MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 470

MSI nVidia GeForce GTX 470
The little brother GTX 480, GTX 470 Nvidia is based on exactly the same architecture. The only difference is that the GTX 470 has a base speed slightly lower clock (700Mhz vs. 607Mhz) and a little less Stream Processors (480 x 448). The result, as you might expect, is a card that is slightly slower in general.

The performance of the GTX 470 Geforece is very competitive with the Radeon HD 5870, although benchmarks show that it is not as fast in general. Yet this is a very fast card that will easily handle most games. The benefits of paving and support mutli-card applicable to the GeForce GTX 480 also apply to this card.

Unfortunately, the drawbacks are also applicable.
Consumers cards much more power than you'd expect given its performance, and that means it generates much heat. The stock beefy cooling system keeps under control, but results in more noise from the fan.
